They are gluten-free, dairy-free, and packed with plant-based protein and fiber. The best part? You probably already have most of the ingredients in your pantry!

  • Chickpeas: Don't worry, you can't taste them! They provide a creamy texture and a great protein boost.

  • Medjool Dates: Nature’s candy. They give that perfect caramel-like sweetness.

  • Peanut Butter: For healthy fats and that rich, nutty flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (400g) chickpeas, rinsed and drained

  • 6-8 Medjool dates, pitted

  • 2 tbsp Peanut or Almond protein butter

  • 1 tbsp Honey (or maple syrup)

  • 50g Dark chocolate (melted for coating)

  • Desiccated coconut for sprinkling

Instructions:

  1. Blend: In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, dates, nut butter, and honey. Blend until the mixture is smooth and dough-like.

  2. Roll: Scoop about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball between your palms. Repeat until all the dough is used.

  3. Coat: Melt the dark chocolate. Dip each ball into the chocolate until fully coated.

  4. Finish: Sprinkle with coconut flour (desiccated coconut) while the chocolate is still wet.

  5. Chill: Place the bites in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to set.
